Fun holiday crafts trend every year, and December 2023 was no different.

DIY ornaments of all kinds were popping up on the For You page: flocked ornaments, glitter ornaments, and of course, iridescent ornaments. My original concept for this asset was to show DIY ornaments these three ways. I styled and shot all three tutorials. However, while editing the footage, the iridescent ornaments were by far the most eye-catching—the other methods paled in comparison.

I brought two versions of the asset to leadership review and the team agreed to move forward with the iridescent tutorial alone.

The asset performed over benchmark, and my tree was decorated with new, cute ornaments!
