July Moodboard
Francesca’s kicks off each month with a moodboard—part inspiration, part style forecast—to set the tone on social. For July, the brief called for two elements: a beachy illustrated hero frame, and a “How your email found me” or “Mentally, I’m here” meme-style graphic.
For the hero frame, I sourced existing illustrations from different sources and composited them into a single, cohesive scene. The entire post is grounded in a blue-green monochrome palette that echoes tones from the July collection and seaside scenes, giving the frame an organic, sketchbook feel.
For the meme option, I curated sourced imagery to explore multiple text/image pairings. We loved so many of the options that we expanded beyond the original ask and added a third line I wrote—“This and UV 11”—which became the most shared frame (and my favorite).
